 Part 1: Design and sketch (10 sessions)

• Design & Idea Development
• Creating new designs using a mood board
• Creating a story and theme for the mood board
• Studying the color palette according to the season
• Selecting suitable fabrics and colors
• Drawing designs using flat sketches
• How to select the right fabric for each design
• Smart purchasing skills and comparing price vs. quality
• Understanding different types of fabrics and their properties

 Part 2: Sewing (6 Sessions)

• Pattern Making & Draping
• Taking body measurements and applying them to the mannequin
• Draping on the mannequin (blouse and skirt patterns, various skirts and dresses)
• Understanding basic rules of draping
• Learning sewing basics
• Following up with the tailor for finishing

 One to one consultation (1 session With Nerveen)

• Business plan.
